The Oasis

The Oasis is a one-room cabin set into the side of the mountain, and the mountain is the point. Eleven windows, each six feet tall, wrap the studio in the White River valley. The light moves across the room all day and you will want to watch it do it.

Inside, the bed faces the glass, a reading nook holds an oversized chaise, and the kitchenette keeps coffee within reach of the view. Outside, the deck hangs over the treetops with two chairs pointed at the water.

This is the couples cabin. No neighbors in sight, no schedule, no reason to hurry back up the hill.
